Survey Management Solutions (SMS) is excited to be involved with the new Ballarat West Employment Zone (BWEZ) development.
The 60ha Greenfields subdivision in the western suburbs of the regional Victorian city is adjacent to the Ballarat Airport.
Stage 1 is complete and works on Stage 2 are underway on the $30 million joint initiative between the Victorian Government and the City of Ballarat.
The industrial estate consists of:
- 125 Drainage Pits, Culverts, and GPT’s.
- 36 Sewer Pits, a pump station, and over 4650m of sewer mains.
- Over 1300m of swale drains
- 2600m of internal roads and upgrades to the adjoining external access roads.
- Along with gas, water, electrical, and communications reticulation to each of the 23 lots.
SMS has been providing construction support for the project, including detailed conformance reports for major roads and drainage infrastructure and a thorough quality analysis of potential drainage issues.
