SMS meets above Melbourne

After three cancellations last year because of Covid lockdowns, SMS finally hosted its Strategy and Planning Day on Saturday, April 30 at the Eureka Tower in Melbourne.

The Victorian survey team got together to keep them informed on SMS’s current business position and future works.

It was also a chance for many in the SMS team to finally meet after many in the business after numerous lockdowns last year.

General Manager Hugh Peck addressed the group to give feedback on current SMS performance, and three main survey equipment suppliers attended to keep our team up to date with the latest survey gear and innovations.

“It was great to have all of the team in the one place and get to meet new colleagues after so many lockdowns last year kept putting off the day,” Hugh said.

“While it was good for the team to engage with SMS’s strategy, the highlight was the connections with colleagues that were made on the day.”

Survey Manager Travis Gains said ice break bingo was a good way for team members to get to know each other, and the day ended with refreshments and a bowling game.
